I'm a London-based photographer working mainly in black and white. My photography is influenced by the Japanese Provoke movement, which embraced grain, blur and imperfection as part of the image rather than something to be fixed.
I photograph everyday life, looking for moments, shapes, light and movement that catch my attention. I'm less interested in creating technically perfect images and more interested in making photographs that capture a feeling or atmosphere.
Photography isn't a choice, it is something I must do as a way to make sense of what I see and feel. The photographs on this site are my personal response to the places, people and moments I encounter.
